Payment of Employees’ Provident Fund Benefits in the event of Death of the member

Eligibility

Heirs are eligible to receive benefits in the event of the member’s death.

If the member was unmarried, benefits will be disbursed to nominees, or in the absence of nominees, benefits will be paid to heirs. If the member was married, benefits will be paid to the valid nominee, or in the absence of a nominee, benefits will be refunded to the spouse and/or children.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION:-

• The completed application forms should be personally submitted by the applicants to the L claim branch in the head office or to the nearest zonal Labour Office in their residence during the office hours of a working day.

Duration for Service Delivery

• The service will be provided within 4 weeks if all required documents are submitted promptly.
