Payment of Employees’ Provident Fund Benefits upon Completion of Age

Eligibility
If a male employee, 55 years of age should be completed.
If a female employee, 50 years of age should be completed.
N:B: It is compulsory to have been left the employment at the time of claiming for benefits.
Method of submitting application

Counter on the ground floor of the Head office, all District offices and Sub Labour offices and here

Time to submit application:-
Completed application form should, by the member himself/herself be handed over to the nearest District labour office or Labour sub office where he/she resides, during the office hours of a working day.

Period taken to provide the Service (Ordinary Service and Priority Service)

Necessary Supporting documents

Application certified by the last employer, “B” cards relevant to membership numbers, National Identity Card and a copy of the National Identity Card certified by the employer, copy of the bank pass book

Original birth certificate and National Identity card should be produced. Valid driving license/ valid passport/ Adult identity card can be produced in the absence of National Identity card

If the birth is not registered or the relevant documents are damaged, the results of search of registers should be produced along with an affidavit to confirm the probable age

Exceptions, instances not included above and special information
If there are shortcomings in the documents, such matters can be discussed with the Deputy Commissioner of Labour of the Labour office to which the application is handed over.
