Mission
To promote industrial harmony between the parties by avoiding delays in the settlement of disputes by the Department of Labor and promptly resolving problems causing dissatisfaction.
FUNCTIONS
The following duties conducted by the Special Investigations Division.
✔ Urgent inspections and settlement of urgent industrial disputes.
✔ Labour inspections and field investigations to in selected establishments. Resolving appeals filed by parties aggrieved by complaint hearings conducted at District Labour Offices and sub offices.
✔ Investigating complaints related to unfair labour practices
✔ Special duties assigned by the Minister of Labour, Secretary to the Ministry of Labour and Commissioner General of Labour.
