• Regardless of employment type—permanent, apprentice, temporary or casual.
• Irrespective of payment mode—piece-rate, commission, contract or piece-of-work basis.
• Whether receiving wages monthly, semi-monthly, weekly or daily.
• Even if an employee resumes work after receiving EPF benefit money.
• Even for foreign employees working in Sri Lanka.
• Including employees of organizations engaged in charity or social service activities with over 10 employees
• Across all levels of work, from labourer ranks to managerial positions.
