Procurement of 40 nos of Thin Client computers,
100 nos of Desktop computers and 115nos of UPS

The chairman Department procurement committee on behalf of the, Commissioner General of Labour now invites sealed bids for procurement of Computers and UPS machines for the Division of Employees Provident Fund and district Labour offices located island wide, from eligible and qualified bidders possessing a minimum of 5years’ experience inthe sale of Desktop Computers with the same brand offered and 3 Years and 2 Years sales experience in the sales of UPS and Thin Client Computer respectively. Complete details are included in the bidding document. All goods should be delivered to the below address. Expected delivery period is 06 to 08 weeks from the date of the letter of acceptance, all bids must be accompanied by a bid security as indicated in the table below.

Bidders are allowed to quote one or more lots. Bidders should provide bid security along with the bid.
2. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Finance division, 3rd floor, Department of Labour , (Telephone 0112581393) and inspect the bidding documents free of charge from 9.00am to 2.00 pm on working days until 21 September 2017.
4. A complete set of Bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders from the Finance division upon submission of a written application on or before 3.30 pm 21 September 2017 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of RS. 5000/= for each document (The payment method will be cash).
5. Bids must be delivered to the Finance division, 3rd floor, Department of Labour, Colombo05 on or before 22 September 2017 at 2.00 pm Late bids will be returned unopened. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address given above after closing of bids.
